What makes a piece a drawing? is it the fact that its on paper. Well, I started this piece applying paint to paper, drew the image in charcoal and then painted in the areas I felt needed. So I guess it is just as much a painting as it is a drawing.

While drawing this piece my thoughts were actually on my dear friend who just lost his mother. I’m deeply sad for him. Having experienced this loss myself all I can say is that drawing helps.
